On their wedding day, Catholic couples promise to be open to life, to accept any children entrusted to them by God, and to raise those children in the Catholic faith.

This sacred parental responsiblity has been fulfilled throughout the centuries. Each generation accepts the Deposit of Faith, and passes it on to the next.

While Sacramental preparation is a necssary part of our journey with God, our formation as Catholics is a life-long process. The Catholic life is one of continous formation, as we turn towards Christ and live our identity as His children.

Formation doesn't end when our children recieve their First Holy Communion and Confirmation. As a service to the families of our parish, Our Lady of Sorrows provides weekly religious education for children and young people throughout the school year.
